  • Operational Excellence:
    • Improved the ITS Department Net Promoter Score to over 70 for the last 18 months from a baseline of 30.10.
    • Achieved a reduction in cyber insurance premium 27% YoY from '22-'23 through metrics and KRI program.
    • Reduced phish-prone percentage to 3.0%, on the latest campaign, against and industry average of 36.6%.
    • Reduced Reports ticket requests by 50% and reduced Reports ticket queue from 16 to 2 days through Qlik implementation.

Led the Information Security, IAM, and Server Teams, consisting of 12 FTEs with 8 direct reports, plus various numbers of interns and members of the Junior Talent Development program and served as the HIPAA Security Official.  Drove strategy, governance, risk, and compliance of the information security and identity programs, and managed the server team to maintain high availability of the 2600+ server infrastructure.  Responsible for tracking and coordinating IT audits and interfacing with internal and external audit teams. Managed a $7.4M budget, CapEx and OpEx.
  • Project Management:
    • Authored and negotiated $976K RFP for IPS and SIEM for broader network visibility and intel.
    • Saved $1.5MM through data center relocation project.  Negotiated the $6.6MM RFP that brought the savings to fruition and led team through data center relocation.
    • Redistributed $600K back into the classroom by leading a project to distribute nearly 200 interactive white boards to 48 schools across the district.

    • Reduced risk to the district by aligning information security program the NIST 800-53r4 moderate standard framework.
